Pre-gaming For The Fest

Jeff (Pink Razors)

Scene Point Blank: How many times has the band played The Fest?

Jeff: This will be our third year playing The Fest.

Scene Point Blank: Seeing how The Fest has been dubbed the pinnacle of beard rock, which bands playing do you think have the best bearded members? Do you have suggestions or requests for facial hair at this year's The Fest?

Jeff: Wow, let's get right to the pressing questions then. I am actually turned off by facial hair and can't really grow a beard, so I'm not the best one to ask. I am more impressed by grooming.

Scene Point Blank: What have been some of the high and low points of previous The Fests?

Jeff: Last year we played really poorly and have heard about it everywhere we've gone for the past year, as if we were the only band ever to have a bad night. That was a low point. The high points are watching our favorite bands and cashing in our free meal vouchers.

Scene Point Blank: What bands are you most psyched to see at this year's The Fest?

Jeff: The Marked Men, Chinese Telephones, Riverboat Gamblers and many more bands that sound like those bands.

Scene Point Blank: What are you most looking forward to aside from seeing other bands at this year's The Fest?

Jeff: The fall season, recording a new album, the next presidential election.

Scene Point Blank: For all the first timers do you have any advice before attending The Fest this year or any suggestions for things to check out in the off time?

Jeff: Pace yourself. You have the rest of your life to drink, so you don't need to do it all in one weekend or even before the sun goes down. If you really want to see a certain band, get there early or you might miss it. Take a bike if you can and ride out of town to clear your head.
