SPB: What was the first record you ever bought?

Gab of Thunder: If I'm not mistaken my first vinyl record I bought was the self-titled Adolescents album. My parents had a record player and a small stack of records that sat in our dining room and I put it in front so everyone could see it. This was cool until I bought my second record which was Humanure by Cattle Decapitation which has this super gross album cover of a cow giving birth to a human. Not really something that should be on display in a room you eat in.

Adrien Idiot: I bought a copy of Behind Enemy Lines Know Your Enemy for my brother but he already had a copy so he told me to keep it and start my own record collection. I remember setting up the stereo, unfolding the poster sized lyric sheet on the floor, staring at the artwork and reading along to all the songs. It immediately became my favourite way to listen to music.

Dale Carmichael: First record I ever bought was Subhumans - The Day the Country Died. I spoke directly to Dick Lucas when I ordered the record and he signed the parcel wrapping too for me which I thought was super cool.
