SPB: Is there a regional food you look forward to on tour?

Smith: As a man with no proper education I do not know what "regional" means but lemme tell you, I was 250 pounds a few years ago so I do nothing but think about food. When I'm not eating cheeseburgers and sucking down blunts I think of a certain something: "THE EXPERIENCE".

For some reason when I think about touring and all the stops along the way, "New York City" always comes to mind. Not just the city itself but I think about those dirt nasty bodegas. When I walk into a mini mart here in Portland, Oregon I think to myself, "You know what this place is missing? Bubble jackets, rats, expired protein bars, continuous honking and ,last but not least, a chopped up cheeseburger.” That chopped up cheeseburger is known as the chopped cheese. Some sick part of my brain paints this fairy tale of me ordering the chopped cheese like I've worked the spot before, grabbing the food then just chilling outside the bodega. I imagine taking my first few bites and kind of digging it then…boom! Some random dude gets hit by a twinkie yellow taxi cab. If this all happened identical to what I just said, I would have no doubts I'm in a good place in life. Let THE EXPERIENCE rule your life, you may end up in a Band touring the country.
