Rig Time!
Rig Time!

Bryan W. Fleming (Rig Time! – vocals/drums)

SPB: As a band that’s very active on the road, how have you adjusted or focused your creative energy over the past year (plus)?

Fleming: Before the world shut down, we were ready to hit about 150 tour dates in 2020. We had to shift our focus from creating an intense live performance, to capturing that same live essence and intensity on record. We spent the year stepping up our game in recording by releasing a Dry Kill Logic and Misfits cover, to finally tracking our upcoming new original music completely ourselves. We meticulously crafted every step of the recording process to get the exact RIG TIME! sound we heard in our head including using the live rooms in our local venue, layering massive amounts of guitars and turning knobs constantly. We want the listener to feel like they are in the room with us, and when this new music drops on State Of Mind Recordings, we hope the sound engulfs your ears and feels like you’re drowning in it. Currently, our focus has gone back to being a thicker, heavier, better, tighter and all around more massive live band than we were before. Our return to touring has yielded phenomenal responses and we're  grateful for anyone who ever steps in the room with us to catch a set.

Short answer? Our creative focus is about sounding the absolute best we can sound, always.
