DIME EP coming from New Morality

Posted in Labels on July 3, 2024

Released digitally via collective label Feral Child, DIME's debut self-titled EP will be reissue don vinyl soon by New Morality Zine. Playing heavy alternative rock influenced by hardcore such as Have Heart, Title Fight, and Basement, the EP has 6 signs in total. Vinyl will be limited to 300 copies.

“The moment I saw a clip of this band playing, I knew I had to work with them. Many bands sound great on recordings and win you over, but their live personality and ability to connect often don't match up. Since I saw a live clip first, I knew the music had to be just as good, and I wasn't wrong. I instantly fell in love with the EP for its rough-around-the-edges vocals and the immersive guitar work. The guitar breaks give the listener a moment to reflect on the music before diving back in. I kept playing the EP, and the lyrics continued to resonate with me, hitting vulnerable places I needed at that moment. This solidified my desire to reach out to the band. I'm beyond happy I did because it also led to the opportunity to split-release the EP with Feral Child, whose ethos closely aligns with NMZ's,” New Morality says.
