156/Silence takes a cue from horror films

Posted in Bands on April 26, 2024

156/Silence has shared their first new music in two years, a new horror-inspired single called "Unreasonable Doubt," released via SharpTone Records.

The metal meets hardcore band from Pittsburgh, PA has three albums thus far, most recently Narrative in 2022.

"We started with the idea of a riff that skips and could emulate the feeling and impact of a slasher movie stabbing scene. Lyrically the song’s theme is about the loss of trust in oneself and others as well as the everlasting shadow of diffidence. The remembrance of ambiguity alone. An Unreasonable Doubt," the band says.
