A new Sweetheart in 2024

Ohio post-hardcore band Sweetheart will share an unreleased LP + comp[anion EP on January 2: The Unbearable Tightness Of Being The Process of Making Us Well, available via Expert Work Records.

The LP was recorded in 2005, pre-breakup: “The band broke up before we were happy with mixes.” says Michael Howard (guitar/vocals). “At the time it seemed financially irresponsible to press it when we had to cancel tours and knew the label wouldn’t break even on a release.”

The EP, meanwhile, is a sprawling single song and the longest single recording from the group.
