Primus Announce Tour and New Album

The recently reunited Primus have plans to begin recording a new album later this year with a release tentatively planned for 2011. The news was revealed in a new official press release for the band, though it did not specify if the group will be using the talents of current returning drummer Jay Lane or their most tenured drummer, Tim “Herb” Alexander for the studio sessions.

In other news, the band have now revealed a wealth of dates for the summer, here’s how the schedule runs:
