The Books of Knots, a Brooklyn-based group featuring Joel Hamilton (producer/engineer BlakRoc, Sparklehorse), Matthias Bossi (Skeleton Key, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum), Carla Kihlstedt (Tin Hat, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum) and Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu, Frank Black, Bob Mould), has wrapped up work on Garden of Fainting Stars, to be released on June 14 on Ipecac Recordings. Guest musicians on the record will include Blixa Bargeld, Mike Watt, Mike Patton, and Trey Spruance.
