Drummer Chris Pennie has announced that he is leaving progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria, citing "creative differences" for his exit. He had joined the band in 2007 and appears on their latest album, Year of the Black Rainbow. Originally a founding member of mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan, Pennie explained that he wished to focus more on his current projects, progressive metal band Return to Earth and his music production company, Fight Mannequins.
