For their fourth annual Christmas offering, August Burns Red are offering up "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." The track is available digitally, or on a limited edition vinyl.
Guitarist JB Brubaker issued the following statement on the song:
The past few years the annual ABR Christmas songs haven't been nearly as 'metal' as 'Carol of the Bells' was...When writing our rendition of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' I wanted to write a more traditional metal song.
August Burns Red will also be hitting the road in January. SPB talked with the band this past summer at the Warped Tour.
