After 28 years with Warner Music Group, Metallica has renegotiated their deal to take ownership of their own masters (including videos). As such, the band is now launching Blackened Recordings, which will work with Rhino on North American releases by the band.
The first release from Blackened is Quebec Magnetic, a live DVD from the band's 2009 performance in Quebec City.
