Based in Minneapolis, MN, new-ish band Unstable Shapes has posted the group's second single, "The Local Spinx."

The group describes their sounds as "influenced by noisy 90’s alternative, post-punk, and post-hardcore artists like Unwound, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Lungfish, and Les Savy Fav," coming from a lineup of James Taylor (drums), Kevin Hurley (bass), Mitch Gustafson and Ryan Jaroscak (guitar), and Andrew Cahak (vocals).

The band is currently recording a full-length with producer Knol Tate (Kill Sadie, Askeleton, Deleter), which will include both of the band's singles thus far.
