Red Scare Industries punk rock record label has announced multiple celebrations for this year's 20th anniversary of the label, which launched with the first EP by The Falcon two decades ago. The label will throw lineup showcases in several cities this fall, plus the upcoming compilation, 20 Years of Dreaming And Scheming, out Sept. 6. The comp features new songs from Laura Jane Grace, The Menzingers, The Falcon, Dead To Me, and more -- with a video just premiering this week for Laura Jane Grace's "Baby, Baby" which includes baking back The Mississippi Medicals. The song is a cover of The Sidekicks.

"Toby [of Red Scare] has done a million solids over the years, starting with signing Against Me! and even just small acts of kindness,” Grace says in an interview with Rolling Stone. “He was the reason that I got the Four Seasons Landscaping gig. The Sidekicks were on Red Scare records and we did a full U.S. tour with them back in 2014. That’s my favorite one of their songs.” The video was filmed and edited by Deanna from Sincere Engineer.

The next single to release will be from The Menzingers, the label says.

The Sidekicks are a band that I still pay attention to past my “punk only years”—you know, the years of my youth when only punk music and anything within that sub-genre mattered to me.
