The Mizzerables, led by Joe Mizzi, has released a new single called "85."

"'85' is a reflection of the chaos and confusion of growing up in a time of mixed messages and broken promises. It’s a history that is repeating itself. It captures the frustration and dissolution on an individual level through the lens of an era that shaped a generation, my generation," Mizzi says in a statement.

The band formed in 2013 in Chicago, IL, playing the style of poppy, upbeat punk the city is often associated with. Mizzi also recently joined The Bollweevils. Besides his music, he has overcome physical and mental health challenges in recent years, leading to the band's recent output.
