Dallas-Forth Worth based band Sloth Fist has a new EP planned, sharing the title track "Mind Flayers" this week.

While the band forme din Austin, various causes have pushed the members into new home cities, spread across 3 states.

The EP's b-side is "Denim Demon," A Turbonegro cover -- which is also telling of the band's interest in merging punk and hard rock tones.

Members have also played with Bullet Machine, Black Habits, Responsible Johnny, Justice League, The Killing Flame, Slave One, Neighborhood Villain, and Dead Cat Lounge.

The band hints that a break-up may be forthcoming due to the cross-state logistics, with plans to share six new original songs and three cover songs in 2025. The Mind Flayers EP will release via Mindpower Records.
