Following a Houston hospitalization for David Lamb, Rhode Island's Brown Bird have cancelled the rest of their tour. After further testing, Lamb has been found to suffer from leukemia. He will soon undergo chemotherapy, with a fundraising drive underway.

Layne Staley’s mother, Nancy McCallum, is bringing the remaining original members of Alice in Chains, Jerry Cantrell and Sean Kinney, to court on count of royalty distribution.
