Southern Lord Records has added North Carolina/Virginia instrumental metal band Loincloth to their roster. Loincloth features ex-Confessor members Stever Shelton and Cary Rowells and will release their debut, Iron Balls of Steel, on Jan. 17, 2012.
Two songs from the band's demo, back in 2003, appeared as a part of Southern Lord's 7" of Doom series.
