POAC, or Planet on a Chain joins Revelation

Hardcore band Planet on a Chain, aka POAC, will release their second LP soon when the band issues Culture of Death on April 5 via Revelation Records.

The band features vocalist Dave Ackerman (Tear It Up/Dead Nation, plus Brian (guitar), Tobia (bass), Mose (drums), and Al (guitar), who have played with bands such as Dead and Gone, Punch, and Look Back and Laugh.

The lead single is "Cocalero," with Ackerman offering some context:

I wrote this song after reading a book about the illegal gold trade in South America and the parallels to the cocaine trade. The coca leaf farmers live in poverty. They are under the thumb of the cocaine traffickers to grow the most they can, but also frequently the target of enforcement efforts. They receive the risks of the drug trade without the rewards.
