The Swellers have posted another new song from their new album Good For Me. It's called "Nothing More to Me." You can check it out, along with an explanation of the song, by hitting the jump. The Swellers will release Good For Me on June 14th via Fueled By Ramen.
"Nothing More To Me” is set during the 1953 tornado that devastated Flint, Michigan. The focus of the song, however, is that of a relationship gone sour and the couple trying to mend things during such a disaster, as if the storm is almost a second nuisance. With times as tough as they are now, it’s just crazy that people have to deal with their houses being torn apart on top of everything else going on. The timing of us releasing/recording this song is very eerie, but hopefully it’s a reminder that things just got a lot tougher for all of us and people need your help.
