Joey santiago, guitarist in the Pixies, will be acting in an upcoming independent film titled The Bridge. The film follows a small town music prodigy. Santiago will play the role of a shady motel owner. Musicians Joe Ellliott (Def Leppard) and Al Jourgensen (Ministry)are also slated for the film.
"Being part of a cast that includes musicians from Ministry, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister and Thin Lizzy, I really feel like the odd-man out," says Santiago. "But I'm really excited about being involved."
Filming wil begin next year.
