AFI's Next Full-Length Details

Posted by Matt on March 28, 2006

AFI have released some information regarding their upcoming release. Frontman Davey Havok has announced that the record , titled Decemberunderground will be released on the hilariously Satanic date of 06/06/06. Reports that the album will consist solely of a satanic chant for the duration of the record are thought to be unfounded. The information leading up to the album has been gleaned from a "treasure hunt" operated by the band over the last few months on their official messageboard. Hyperactive fans traced foreign languages and ancient symbols in a strange parody of the Da Vinci Code to find out news about the album, only for Havok to release this news. You can read more about it in this VH1 story. In related news, the first single from the record, titled "Miss Murder", is due for radio release on April 24th. AFI are also scheduled to play certain dates on the Warped Tour, and are expected to play some headlining dates nearer the record's release date. A video is also expected for "Miss Murder".
