Drugs Of Faith set to record full-length

Posted by Jon E. on April 9, 2010

Official press release: Ever since the release of Drugs Of Faith's debut eponymous mini-album in 2006, fans and press have been asking when the Virginia-based trio will record a full-length record. Well, that recording has finally been scheduled. The band will enter Developing Nations in Baltimore, Maryland this May, with Kevin Bernsten (Triac) at the helm. The as-yet-untitled first full-length record for the band -- to be released by Poland's Selfmadegod Records, who also released the self-titled mini-album as well as the band's split release with Antigama -- will feature the grind 'n' roll sound the group is known for, as well as lyrics covering social and political subjects they continue to feel strongly about. These will be the first recordings from the band since turning in their tracks to Relapse Records for This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2. Drugs Of Faith features guitarist/vocalist Richard Johnson, bassist Taryn Wilkinson and drummer Edward Spode. Stay tuned for additional info and announcements on DOF's upcoming album, live updates and more.
