Chunksaah Records has announced they will be releasing Tim Barry's newest album, 40 MileR, on April 10. "If this record is uplifting compared to my old ones it's because I feel stronger from all the beat-downs and shit I've taken in the past," Barry says of the upcoming album. The record also incorporates more electric instruments than his first three solo releases. Barry's 2010 "Prosser's Gabriel", on 28th and Stonewall, helped to move the city of Richmond, VA to create a memorial to the slain Prosser.
Barry will be hitting the road in April to support the release. Barry spoke with SPB a few years ago here.
