Bl'ast! and Eyehategod are coming together on a new two-song 7" from Rise Records.

"I first saw Bl'ast! back in the '80s at an obscure club in New Orleans after deeming Power of Expression and It's in My Blood two of my favorite albums ever to be made. Me and my friends I was there with (one of which was CoC's Pepper Keenan) were blown away and viciously soaked in the hardcore punk skate vibe even down here in the American South. Cut to years later, I met the guys in Bl'ast! again when EyeHateGod did a US tour with Corrosion and have since remained friends all these years," Eyehategod's Mike IX Williams says of the release.

Track List:

1. “Cut Your Teeth” (Bl'ast!)

2. “The Liars Psalm” (EYEHATEGOD)

However, to gloss over those nearly 15 years … Read more

The Bouncing Souls have been a band now for longer than I've been alive, and let's just say I'm not a teenager anymore. The incredible thing about these Jersey punks is that they've managed to remain on my record player long after my teenage years—which, let's face it, most of … Read more

When it comes to talk about "heavy" bands and which ones reign supreme, it's virtually impossible not to mention Eyehategod of New Orleans, LA. Self-described as "down to earth motherfucken post amplification blues," the band has been doing their own thing for the last 25 years. Or at least trying … Read more
