Dusting Herron, formerly of Abolitionist, has a new cassette available from his solo concept project titled DZTN 1980. The project will explore a range of styles. The debut, Outside The City, was a voice and electric guitar-only album while its follow-up, the brand new War Of Good Intentions is a sci-fi synthpunk story set in a futuristic society.
The project is described as a chance for Herron to expand beyond the punk genre and embrace a variety of sounds. Each release will be unique in style while maintaining a base in postapocalyptic settings.
