Post-rock band God Is An Astronaut will launch a new live studio album on July 15, The Beginning Of The End, which releases via Napalm Records.
The album features new renditions, captures live in studio, of the band's full first album, The End Of The Beginning (2002). The concept maintains the original melodies while showcasing how the group has evolved in the past two decades.
"When we recorded the The End of the Beginning we only had limited equipment,; we couldn't even record full live performances,“ says bassist Niels Kinsella. "The Beginning of the End gave us the opportunity to perform the whole album live and allowed us to bring more feeling and expression to the music and songs. We're very excited to share this with everyone."
