Next month Translation Loss Records will release a 5-song EP from Green Bay, WI-based Choke, Desiphon.

The detah metal band recorded the album in Feb-Mar 2021 at Split Underground Studios in Green Baywith guitarist Caleb Cheslock, then mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge) and God City Studios, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audio Siege.

It will release on two vinyl variants, as well as digital formats.

“The inspiration behind the song-and for the greater theme of the EP overall-deals with the idea of taking the ills of the world, be it terrible people, or the vile aspects of humanity, and returning them to the earth to start over again," the band says of the new release.
