R. Ring, who debuted with Ignite the Rest in 2017, returns in 2023 with the release of follow-up album War Poems, We Rested, which releases on Jan. 27 through Don Giovanni Records.
The band features Kelley Deal (The Breeders) and Mike Montgomery (Ampline), who are joined by Laura King (Bat Fangs) playing drums and contributing significantly as well. Lori Goldston joins on cello, alongside Joe Suer on vibraphone.
The lead single, "Still Life," can be heard now.
