May 12 marks the return of Esben and the Witch, when the band will release Hold Sacred via Nostromo Records, the band's sixth album overall.

The trio, featuring Rachel Davies, Thomas Fisher and Daniel Copeman, formed in 2008 and last released Nowhere in 2018 (Season of Mist).

The new album moves in a new direction, more gentle, brooding, and ambient, the band says.
