JD Pinkus & Tall Tall Trees will release the collaborative Ponder Machine, out June 30 on Shimmy-Disc.
The banjo album features Pinkus, known for his work with Butthole Surfers, and Mike Savino (Tall Tall Trees), drawing from bluegrass music with a darker twist.
The lead single, "Fungal Mountain Breakdown," is shared below along with a bandcamp link for when the record comes out.
The album was recorded by Kramer in August 2022 and will release via Joyful Noise Recordings.
