Out on August 18, Diners returns with Domino, sharing the title track as a previous of their latest album, produced by Mo Trooper and coming out via Bar/None Records. On the title track, "Domino" (shared below), the band pits Beach Boys-like harmonies against harsher guitar, with Jeff Rosenstock appearing in the video.
The new record is Diners' first since Blue both relocated form Phoenix to Los Angeles and since she came out as transgender. The album doesn't directly explore trans themes, but Blue remarks that the album's energy comes in part from the experience.
Diners will be on tour with Chris Farren this fall.
