Initially rising in 1981 and helmed by Olaf Kraemer and Kristof Hahn, The Golden Vampire Experience is back with a new full-length called Polaris, out Oct. 6 via Erototox Decodings on cd and digital formats, followed by vinyl in November.
After a large break in time, Hahn and Kraemer reconvened in Berlin, leading up to the new record which is sung in both English and German. The band is rounded out by Tommy Wydler (Bad Seeds, Die Haut), Achim Färber (Phillip Boa) on percussion, and Chandra Shukla (Psychic TV) on sitar and tabla.
