Touché Amoré are celebrating 10 years of their third studio album, Is Survived By, with a remix and remaster from the same duo that worked on Stage Four: Brad Wood and Emily Lazar. Vocalist, Jeremy Bolm, comments:
I've always had a really hard time with the way this record sounds. I've unfortunately been oversharing and vocal about that for a number of years, but when we went to Brad to remix it, the main direction that I gave him was to make this sound more like Stage Four, and I think he killed it. He found that middle ground to where everything now compliments each other and there’s far more clarity overall.
The record is being re-released in a new vinyl package, courtesy of guitarist Nick Steinhardt, with a number of new colorways and matching jackets, as well as new essays from each member talking about the record, in addition to essays from members of Balance & Composure, Drug Church, Brad Wood, and more. You can pre-order Is Survived By: Revived over at Deathwish now, with a release date of January 19th, 2024.
