Vancouver synthpunk band Phuture Memoriez has announced a new album, just released on Oct. 9 via Nerve Wracking Collections, called Play Cobra. Their latest is their third full-length, a concept record dedicated to the musical improv game Cobra (created by John Zorn), which explores themes of noise, chaos, and beauty.

The new record features 10 chapters that explore those concepts, including the single "Ear Blue."

The band is as evolution from Jerk in the Can.
