Formed in Philadelphia in 2019, Sonagi has a new EP out on August 2, leading off with the single "Rain Shadow." The EP itself will be titled Everything Is Longing for Secret Voice, with 4 songs in total. The general style is described as screamo with dissonance.
Sonagi released a full-length, Precedent, in 2022 (Get Better Records). The band's name, "Sonagi," is the romanization of the Korean word "소나기" which means “sudden rain showers.” Additional, it was the titled of a 1952 short story by Hwang Sung-won.
