Defunct Chicago, IL metalcore band Miasis will soon see a remixed and remastered version of the band's In And Out Of Weeks EP, out Oct. 18. The band ran in the last 1990s-early 2000s and included Sean Ingram (Coalesce) on vocals, plus Brothers Andy and Joe Chavez (bass and drums) and Evan Mallon (guitar).
The EP itself was recorded by Mark Sampson at Cadence Studios between July 2000 and April 2001, mixed by Andy Chavez May/June 2024, and mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio (The Sword, Coliseum, Jawbox) June/July 2024. It originally came out in 2003, self-released on Undecided Records.
