Yasmin Nur, set to release her debut album on April 11, has shared the new single "My Right." The record will be titled Slaughter, out via Skeletal Lightning.
"It's about my personal experience with growing up mixed race in a primarily white town/environment. Constantly having my toes stepped on and my words be silenced by white girls. This song also talks about how I feel when someone hooks up with me then immediately goes back to the white/blonde 'Becky,'" the artist says.
