Planning for Burial returns, sharing the brand new single "A Flowing Field of Green" in advance of the band's first album in eight years. The new album, It’s Closeness, It’s Easy, is set to release on May 30 via The Flenser.

A solo project of Thom Wasluck, it's the first new album since Below the House (2017).

To paraphrase, the album themes involves managing the weight of life, specifically how experiences stick with you and continue to inspire or burden.
