Baltimore, MD noise rock band Birth (Defects) just announced their first record in 8 years: Deceiver/Mirror, out May 30 via Reptilian Records.
The album was initially recorded in 2017, just after its predecessor, but written and recorded as the band came apart. It was put on the shelf, but not forgotten after all. The group disbanded in 2019, returning to action in 2013. More recent recording took place at Electrical Audio studio with Matthew Barnhart.
