Heavy death metallers Bludgeoned by Deformity has announced their debut EP, coming June 6. The band features members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, Sanguisugabogg, and Jivebomb , with the record coming out on Iron Fortress Records in about a month.
Iron Fortress Records announces the arrival of new brutal death metal faction BLUDGEONED BY DEFORMITY, announcing the details for their merciless debut EP, Epoch Of Immorality.
Members Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg, Tomb Sentinel, Earthburner, Immortal Torment, Ablation, ex-Limbsplitter), Ethan Buttery (Jivebomb, Sinister Feeling), Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, End Reign, Fulgora, Lock Up, Scour), Bradon Studebaker (Immortal Torment, ex-Rejoice), and Andre Pickens (Tsuris) live in Columbus, Baltimore, and Atlanta, coming together to form the project in 2024.
Cornerstones Studebaker and Swank cite Pyrexia, Internal Bleeding, Eternal Suffering, and Scattered Remnants as inspiration, and they've recruited Chris Basile of Pyrexia on lead single, "False Deliverance." The EP also includes a guest contribution from Don Campan of Waking The Cadaver on "Extirpated Human Existence."
“This song is about hypocrisy displayed by Christians when they force their beliefs on others when they are pieces of shit themselves behind the curtain," the band says of the lead single, posted below.
Epoch Of Immorality will release on June 6.
