Never Die: Matt Jencik and Midwife

Matt Jencik has teamed up for a collaborative record with Midwife , out July 11 and entitled Never Die. Specifically, the collaborative album features Madeline Johnston (Midwife) and  Jencik (Slint, Circuit Des Yeux, Hurl).

"Despite the outright denial in its title, death is present in every one of the songs on Never Die," Relapse Records says in a press release -- the label handling its release.— out July 11 on Relapse [pre-order].

The project began officially in 2019, whith Jencik seeking to write vocal-heavy songs in contrast to recent ambient projects.He worked along, sought out another (now begone) collaborator, and shifted gears toward the current form.

Never Die's "Delete Key" is out now.
