Feminist punk band Cheap Perfume shared “Woke Mind Virus” this week, the first single from a new album in the fall.

“This song to me is kind of like the manifesto for the album. There have been a lot of radical changes in the world since our last release, so I thought it was important for us to come out with something bold,” guitarist/co-vocalist Jane No says. “We wrote it in response to the inane ‘war on woke’ and people like Elon Musk demonizing empathy and saying that having compassion is weak.”

The band last released the singles “TKO” and “No Men” in 2021. The new single comes via Snappy Little Numbers.

Upcoming Tour Dates:

7/19 – Denver, CO @ Punk In The Park

7/27 – Denver, CO @ Underground Music Showcase
