Defunct Atlanta, emo-hardcore/math-rock band Some Soviet Station -- Chris McNeal, Jesse Smith, Justin Snyder, and Lee Corum -- will see the upcoming reissue of their 2000 self-titled album released on vinyl for the first time, out on July 25 via Expert Work Records. It was recorded by Bob Weston, and was remastered for vinyl by Carl Saff.
The band drew comparisons to Drive Like Jehu and At the Drive-In, with members also playing in Ripcord, Kossabone Red, and later Maserati, Paper Lions, Vincas, Carbonas, Gentleman Jesse, Copa Vance, and The Purkinje Shift.
