Jump Start signs Mind Power

Jump Start Records, celebrating 25 years in 2021, has a new signing: Mind Power.

"Without a doubt Mind Power is the heaviest band we’ve ever worked with, and it’ll be some time before we release an all out assault on your ears as thundering and groove heavy as Self Torture," the label says of their next release.

The band features Robert Meadows on vocals (A Life Once Lost), plus former members of Ligeia, Dead End Path, and Bring the Heat. Self Torture also has a number of guest appearances from members of Norma Jean, Darkeste Hour, The Chord, and more.

Vinyl preorders begin on Jan. 22 and it releaes to digital platforms a week later on Jan. 29.
