Montréal tech death band Krokmitën have announced the release date for their new piece, "BWV565 Redux". The EP will be released for free download on 21 May at 9 PM for fans registered on the band's website and a week later for everyone else. The 10+ minute song is the band's take on the piece "Toccata & Fugue in D minor, BWV 565", a classical piece for organ attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach.

Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Steve Von Till (Neurosis), and Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessesd) will be releasing a three-way split tribute record to acclaimed songwriter and musician Townes Van Zandt this June on Neurot Recordings titled Songs of Townes Van Zandt.
