Sisters To Release Debut LP

Brooklyn pop/noise/punk outfit Sisters have announced their upcoming debut full length. The record is titled Ghost Fits and is due out September 28, 2010 . The album follows the band's 7-inch split with JEFF the Brotherhood and their debut EP, Sisters. The band is part of the Death by Audio Music Collective which also includes A Place To Bury Strangers, Dirty on Purpose, Grooms, and more. They practice, hang out, play shows and tour together, and are essentially part of a self-contained DIY musical eco-system and actually spawned a successful pedal company also named Death By Audio. The band is influenced by bands like Nirvana, Pixies, Pavement and Sonic Youth as well as noise/pop outfits like Lightning Bolt and My Bloody Valentine. The band has posted several tracks on their MySpace page.
