Jawbox re-records old songs

The reunited Jawbox has a new EP coming up, The Revisionist.

The band reformed in 2019 and, upon relearning their older work, began reimagining some of the songs. This, eventually, pointed to the new EP.

Since 2020, founding member Bill Barbot relocated and resigned from the group, replaced by Brooks Harlan (War on Women), who plays live on this collection of reworked early songs, available on vinyl via Arctic Rodeo Recordings on April 14.
