A Time To Remember Fest Canceled

Posted in Shows on October 21, 2010

The second installment of A Time We'll Remember Fest, scheduled to take place on November 5th and 6th in Washington, DC, has been cancelled.

Yesterday, those designated as fest attendees via Facebook received the following: "This is canceled due to circumstance beyond our control. Sorry to everyone who brought tickets and airfare. We're just as bummed as you are. Your tickets will be refunded by Tom Stevens as soon as possible."

Shortly thereafter, the following surfaced, apparently from organizer Keith Freeman: "Well as everyone by now has heard ATWR is no longer happening. No one is more disappointed than Darrin [Keller] and myself. The venue raised their price and it was just going to be too much. We both scrambled to find another venue in the DC/MD/VA area but we had no luck. All we can say is sorry. It sucks. We tried everything we could to make it work. Months of planning down the drain. Refunds will start going out soon, as we need some deposits to come back to us. Again, sorry it could not work out."
