As is music in 2025, Spanish Love Songs has shared a new single in advance of a new tour. The new song is a reworked take of "Pendulum," which originally appears on No Joy (Pure Noise) and continues the ongoing slow release of reworked tracks dubbed the "No Joy Sessions."

“This version of Pendulum is a bit closer to the original song we scrapped in the studio -- upbeat and driving. Speeding it up always changed how I would read or react to the lyrics. It softens them a bit, and I think it is why we ultimately slowed it down for the album. But I always loved both, so it’s nice to have a “happier” version out," vocalist Dylan Slocum says.

The band will play Furnace Fest in the US, followed by the UK/EU Common Thread tour with Hot Water Music, Comeback Kid, Joyce Manor, and more.

Pure Noise (2023)

I saw Spanish Love Songs before I ever dove into their catalog. And it was immediately clear they’re the type of band where fans really connect, singing along to every word, not just the choruses. In truth, the band doesn’t really use choruses much, but that’s not really the point here. Their sound is rooted in melodic and emotional midtempo … Read more

I’ve known of Spanish Love Songs for a few years and I’ve liked what I heard in passing without diving in. When I saw them at Fest 18 last year and saw the crowd response, it confirmed it was time to pay closer attention. The band is familiar in style, something like The Gaslight Anthem or The Menzingers, with touches … Read more
